Return of the Outlander

MITSUBISHI is back, with a bang and a couple of new models. Actually, the Japanese brand never really went away; it merely shrank its operations in line with the contracting market and chose to operate out of a single showroom in Ubi for a while.

But now that the COE supply looks set to expand significantly, the Japanese make has returned to the prime motor belt and into a brand new showroom on Alexandra Road filled with shiny models.

One of these is the Mitsubishi Outlander sport utility vehicle (SUV). The Outlander nameplate was first introduced here in 2005 as a model with three rows of seats and a rather cool cabin when other Japanese SUVs only had utilitarian interiors.
