SGX Cares –  the Singapore Exchange’s corporate social responsibility platform – celebrated its 20th anniversary on Friday (Oct 27) with close to 3,500 participants taking part in the SGX Cares Bull Charge Charity Run.

The annual event, held at the Marina Barrage for the first time, was the final fundraiser for the year. In all, a total of S$2,538,888 was raised for SGX Cares’ adopted beneficiaries in 2023.

The proceeds from the fundraising activities throughout the year are channelled via the Community Chest to AWWA, Autism Association (Singapore), Fei Yue Community Services, HSCA Community Services and Shared Services for Charities.

In the last two decades, SGX Cares has raised more than S$50 million for over 50 charities and a variety of causes.

Minister of State for Social and Family Development Sun Xueling was the guest-of-honour at the Bull Charge and she flagged off the run that featured two categories – the 3 km Chief Challenge involving CEOs and company chiefs, as well as the 5 km mass run.

We look forward to empowering our community for many more years, with even greater purpose and impact.”
