Love, Bonito's brand new line Studio emphasizes craftsmanship with a focus on dressier designs
SINCE 2010, LOVE, Bonito has been slowly building up its online presence among aspiring fashionistas and the working crowd. The local brand took a leap of faith with a brick and mortar store in 2017, opening the first Love, Bonito boutique at 313 Orchard.
The brand's co-founder Rachel Lim saw it as a way to prove that retail was not dead, but confessed that it was a "calculated risk". It must have been the right move because in 2018, a second store opened in Jem and last month, it launched its third physical store in Funan Mall. This multi-million dollar fashion brand has also made its mark in Malaysia, Indonesia and Cambodia.
Another milestone for the brand this year is the launch of its line Studio by Love, Bonito. Described as the brand's elevated, most fashion-forward offering yet, Studio features a curated number of statement pieces launched once every four months, with the next drop slated for December.
