Home away from home
Audemars Piguet's flagship boutique at Liat Towers is the brand's big investment in a region that is one of its largest point of sales in the world.
IT may be challenging times for high-end watch makers as the consumption of luxury goods slow down with the sluggish economy but François-Henry Bennahmias is taking things in his stride.
As Audemars Piguet's (AP) chief executive officer since 2012, his business philosophy has been the same sensible one, regardless of the economic climate: "Build the success of the brand with people, one watch at a time, one client at a time."
To that end, customer outreach remains a key focus for the brand - despite AP being one of the most recognisable and prestigious already in the world of haute horlogerie - as it officially reopens its flagship Singapore boutique at Liat Towers next Tuesday. (Another is located at Marina Bay Sands.)
