F1 Headliners
The Singapore Grand Prix is less than a month away and the entertainment has just gotten bigger. British acts Lighthouse Family (pictured) and The Ramona Flowers were recently added to a bill that already includes Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fatboy Slim, Gwen Stefani, Hans Zimmer, Swedish House Mafia and more. Lighthouse Family's appearance comes on the back of Blue Sky In Your Head, the duo's first studio album in 18 years. Comprising vocalist Tunde Baiyewu and producer/keyboardist Paul Tucker, the easy-listening soul-pop group rose to fame during the mid-nineties with hit singles Lifted, Ocean Drive, Raincloud, Lost in Space and High.
Fans of Phoenix and M83 should check out The Ramona Flowers. The indie-synth quintet blends rock with pop to create an interesting brand of electronic music that is both moody and dreamy.
The Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2019 takes place from Sep 20-22 at Marina Bay Street Circuit. Book tickets via ww.singaporegp.sg, or ticketing hotline +65 6738 6738.
