Social Space
Frasers Hospitality has just opened its newest hotel residence Capri by Fraser in China Square, blending the heritage of Chinatown and the CBD's urban buzz to woo e-generation travellers. The hotel's modern design reflects its environment with traditional Chinese and multi-racial elements infused in creative ways from medicine cabinet reception counter (with free White Rabbit candy in its drawers) to whimsical murals. Digital nomads get to work and mingle in the Den - a 24/7 social hub fitted out with designer furniture, charging pads, games and refreshments, while their tech needs are met with remote check in via app, smart controls in rooms and wireless speakers synced to their own playlist. There's also a hi-tech gym with interactive Prama flooring, and even a cool self-service laundrette outfitted with Atari Pong to kill time while you wait for your clothes to dry. Capri by Fraser China Square is at 181 South Bridge Road
