Leica’s all-women photography exhibition unveils diverse stories through the lens of five shutterbugs
WHEN the pandemic struck and travel was restricted, Michele Fong looked inwards to cultivate new skills and explore untapped passions. She began to take long walks at the Botanic Gardens, where she became fascinated with the intricate world of plant and insect life.

She says: “Looking through the lens was like looking through a magnifying glass. I was discovering worlds that I wouldn’t normally see. I found myself completely absorbed in this alternate universe, which brought me great relief from regular life and the pandemic.”
