A curveball most controversial

1 What do you think was the most remarkable thing that happened this week?
Hands down it's got to be the bombshell the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) threw into the US presidential election in its home stretch. Ok, the Nov 8 election isn't supposed to be the "event of the week" until next week. And technically this particular "remarkable" happened a week ago - last Friday in America (Saturday in Singapore). The otherwise quiet week did pick up pace in the last couple of days: Political turmoil in Seoul; the UK court ruling on Thursday that has thrown a wrench in the British government's Brexit timeline; and the landmark Paris global climate treaty came into effect on Friday. But FBI director James Comey's sudden announcement, 11 days before the election, about reopening a probe into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server has reverberated all week, in more ways than one.
2 Why is this a big deal?
