In fact, information on the government's spending, with a breakdown by various categories, is available online in the official "Revenue and Expenditure Estimates" found on the Singapore Budget website (www.singaporebudget.gov.sg).
The categories of government spending published include those Mr Ee mentioned, such as expenditure on manpower, consumption of products and services and capital expenditure. Spending details on various government projects and programmes including IT projects, building works and other capital expenditure are also included.
