Investors, ask questions at AGMs to clear any doubts

I READ with interest the article by professor Mak Yuen Teen ("Shareholders should back only qualified directors", May 19).
The following are my observations at every annual general meeting (AGM):
More investors should make every effort to attend AGMs so that they are aware of the state of their investments in the companies, and to raise questions to the board of directors to clear any doubts they might have.
