KrisEnergy rides wave of speculation
COULD KrisEnergy soon be getting a lucky break?
The stock has seen its share price rise since the beginning of the month, accompanied by a surge in volume. Talk in the market is that Keppel Corporation - which holds a 40 per cent stake in the oil and gas exploration and production firm - might lend a hand to the firm to restructure its loans.
When asked about this, both KrisEnergy and Keppel Corp declined to comment. "We do not comment on market rumours," both said in separate responses to The Business Times.
