The narrative being promoted by Jeb Bush and the Republicans seeks to pin all the current mess in Iraq and Syria, including the rise of the IS, on President Obama and the Democrats

FORMER Florida Governor Jeb Bush has yet to declare his run for the American presidency in 2016. But everyone is expecting him to run and many predict that he would win the Republican presidential nomination and has a good chance of beating the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Mr Jeb Bush has already hired some of the brightest political consultants to help him run his presidential campaign. And one could imagine one of these advisors coaching the former governor in preparation for his coming media interviews.

More specifically, the advisor had probably told Mr Jeb Bush that he should expect interviewers to grill him about his view of one of the most disastrous strategic decisions made by an American president - to oust Iraq's Saddam Hussein and invade that country.
