Stanchart's platform 'fully operational'

WE refer to the letter "Broking fees: Don't ignore the economics of doing business" by Christie Loh (BT, Jan 14).

We wish to clarify that Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited's Online Securities Trading platform is fully operational. Our retail clients can continue to have online access to cash equities across the 13 stock market exchanges with no minimum brokerage and their existing cash equity holdings with the Bank remain unaffected.
