Big Data shows longer dwelling time in Jurong East malls

But this has not translated into improved rental performance, study finds

The gross median monthly rent in Jurong East stood at S$16 per square foot (psf) in the first half of this year, 37.4 per cent lower than in Tampines, and marked a general downtrend since the first half of 2013 when the median rent was S$21 psf.


A NEW study that tapped the use of Big Data has found that shoppers spend more time in the malls in Jurong East than in retail centres in the more mature Tampines cluster.
