Condo rents tick up 1.1% in February but HDB rents slide 0.8%
RENT prices for non-landed private homes, or condominiums and private apartments in Singapore, ticked up 1.1 per cent in February compared with January, the second month-on-month increase after a downtrend.
However, rents for Housing and Development Board (HDB) flats continued to slide 0.8 per cent in February compared with January, based on latest flash estimates released by SRX Property on Wednesday morning.
Leasing volumes for non-landed private homes dipped one per cent in February compared with a month ago to an estimated 3,757 units, while HDB leasing volumes were up 1.2 per cent to 1,477 units.
