DEVELOPERS in Singapore sold 745 private homes (excluding executive condominiums or ECs) in April 2016, down 11.6 per cent from the 843 private homes they moved in March 2016. Last month's figure is also down 36.2 per cent from the 1,167 units developers sold in April 2015.

These figures were released on Monday by the Urban Redevelopment Authority based on data submissions by developers.

Including ECs, which are a public-private housing hybrid form, developers found buyers for 1,291 homes last month, down from the 1,328 units in March 2016 but close to the 1,293 units in April 2015.

Among the top-selling projects last month were The Visionaire, an EC project in Canberra Drive, with 154 units sold at a median price of S$821 per square foot (psf), and Sturdee Residences, a private housing project in the Jalan Besar area, with 126 units transacted at a median price of S$1,620 psf.
