ABOUT 949,000 Central Provident Fund (CPF) members who have been covered under the Home Protection Scheme (HPS) since July 1, 2006 are expected to benefit from premium rebates, with half of them to receive S$400 or more.
The rebates arise from better-than-expected investment returns and lower-than-projected claims. The premium rebates will be credited to eligible members' CPF Ordinary Account in November.
