AMID weaker leasing demand, retail space landlords are becoming more receptive to offering pop-up stores tenancies as short as two weeks to boost their occupancy levels.

From a landlord's perspective, pop-up stores can be a way to roll out new retail concepts that inject excitement into the tenant mix. Being temporary, pop-up stores provide quick turnover and can raise retail traffic.
