Prudential unit invests US$300m annually in Asia

M&G Real Estate, the property investment unit of Prudential plc, expects to raise about US$300 million annually to invest in Asian property over the next three to five years.
"We've seen strong capital flows and continue to see strong demand from institutional investors," said Scott Girard, chief executive officer for the Asia-Pacific region. "Asian markets offer attractive risk-adjusted returns."
