Residential GLS site at Fourth Avenue under reserve list triggered for sale
A RESIDENTIAL site at Fourth Avenue under the Reserve List of the government land sale (GLS) programme has been triggered for sale, after a developer has lodged an application to bid at a minimum price of S$448.8 million.
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) said on Tuesday that it has accepted this application to put up the residential site for sale by public tender.
As a standard practice, URA does not reveal the identity of the applicant. The tender for the land parcel will be launched at a later date with a tender period of about four weeks.
Nestled in a mature private residential estate in Bukit Timah, the site has a land area of about 1.9 ha with a maximum permissible gross floor area of 33,358 sq m.
It is next to the Sixth Avenue MRT Station and well-connected via major arterial roads and Pan Island Expressway. Good schools such as Nanyang Girls' High School, National Junior College, Hwa Chong Institution and Raffles Girls' Primary School are also nearby.
