Rise in China's home prices accelerates in April

CHINA'S home prices continued to rise from a year earlier at an accelerating pace in April despite the tightening housing measures introduced in big cities, two private surveys showed.
Prices of new homes in 100 cities last month rose an average 9 per cent from a year earlier, a poll by property services firm China Real Estate Index System (CREIS) showed, quickening from the 7.4 per cent rise in March.
