Stamford Land sees strong sales for Aussie housing project
Company's earnings for six months to September dip 1.2% to $9.3m
STAMFORD Land Corporation has announced that its mixed-use residential project sited outside Sydney has run up sales of A$250 million (S$294 milion) - a record for that suburb - even as its net profit for the six months up till September dipped 1.2 per cent to $9.3 million.
Macquarie Park Village, as the "resort-style urban village" has been named, is located in a high-tech business park north-west of downtown Sydney. It will sit atop the Stamford Grand North Ryde Hotel, a Stamford Land property.
The 22,000-square-metre freehold site will house about 650 apartments, shops and commercial offices, including a convenience store, management offices, mini-supermarkets and childcare centres.…
