UK house price growth slows in December

But majority in a survey thinks prices in 2017 will be higher than last year

Lloyds Banking and Nationwide Building Society predict house price growth will slow this year to roughly 2%.


BRITAIN'S housing market had its weakest month since just after June's Brexit vote in December as house price growth slowed and the number of homes sold fell slightly, a closely watched survey of property valuers showed on Wednesday.
