UOL, SingLand confident of year's first launch

Developers of The Clement Canopy point to its affordability and location near educational institutions

UOL Group and Singapore Land are expecting "good traction" for the first project launch of the year, The Clement Canopy, on Feb 25. Showflats will open to public on Feb 11.

At a press briefing on Tuesday, UOL deputy group CEO Liam Wee Sin said the developers are riding on the positive market sentiment: "We are seeing it quite clearly, seriously, in our launches. We are seeing a lot more traction across the board for all our projects."

For UOL's projects, Botanique@Bartley has just 12 units of 797 units left unsold. Riverbank@Fernvale has 26 of 555 units unsold. Principal Garden…
