Yanlord Land appoints CEO's son as executive director
YANLORD Land Group on Friday announced the appointment of 29-year-old Zhong Ming as executive director, to oversee the group's execution of strategies and developments in Shanghai and Tianjin.
He is the son of Zhong Sheng Jian, the company's chairman and CEO.
The appointment date is Oct 1.
Said the group in an announcement: "Mr Zhong Ming has been holding various positions within the group from property management to property development since 2013. To familiarise him with the board and board committees' matters, he has also been attending meetings of the directors, board committees and the annual general meetings of the company since 2013, whenever invited.
"Mr Zhong Ming, upon appointment as director of the company, will also be receiving relevant briefings and updates, particularly on relevant new laws, regulations and changing commercial risks, from time to time."
Yanlord shares closed 1.06 per cent or 1.5 of a Singapore cent lower at S$1.40 on Friday.
