TECHNOLOGY group BH Global Corp's cyber security unit has secured orders totalling S$4.2 million in the first half of 2021, with these orders to be fulfilled progressively from the next quarter until the fourth quarter of 2022.

Mainboard-listed BH stated its subsidiary Athena Dynamics' orders are not expected to have a significant impact on the performance of the group for the current financial year, according to its statement to the bourse on Monday.

BH owns 85 per cent of Athena Dynamics, which was spun off from BH Global Group's IT department in 2014.

The orders mainly involve the provision of advisory, professional services and special technologies, for the protection of sensitive digital assets and critical information infrastructures from cyber attacks.

These orders are from government agencies, critical information infrastructure operators, multinational companies and small to medium-sized enterprises, said BH.

BH shares closed at S$0.32, after a 30.6 per cent jump on Monday, before the orders were announced.
