A-Sonic buys 51% stake in London-based logistics firm
Singapore
MAINBOARD-LISTED logistics specialist A-Sonic Aerospace, an established player in the B-to-B airfreight business, has been recently expanding aggressively into the B-to-C arena to capitalise on the fast growing global e-commerce business.
In its latest move, the company last Friday announced the purchase of a 51 per cent stake in a London-based logistics company to set up a gateway for e-fulfilment into Europe and the UK. It also has an office in Amsterdam, to serve Northern Europe. And it is looking at setting up similar stations in Germany.
