China: Shares flat in morning trade

[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were flat in morning trade on Tuesday, as investors awaited the release of trade data later in the day, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.02 per cent, or 0.59 points, to 3,228.73.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged up 0.04 per cent, or 0.56 points, to 1,433.12.
