China: Shares up slightly in morning trade

[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were slightly higher in morning trading on Wednesday, tracking overnight gains in US stocks, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.14 per cent, or 4.62 points, to 3,209.53.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.33 per cent, or 5.09 points, to 1,538.31.
