China: Shares up slightly in morning trade

[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were slightly higher in morning trade on Wednesday, tracking an overnight rally on Wall Street, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.20 per cent, or 6.25 points, to 3,147.84.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.44 per cent, or 6.62 points, to 1,519.11.
