China: Stocks mixed in morning trade

[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were mixed on Monday morning with Shanghai slightly lower after gaining 3.51 per cent the previous session on recent government measures to boost the market, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.23 per cent, or 8.93 points, to 3,948.42.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.81 per cent, or 17.66 points, to 2,208.08.
