Europe: Stock markets drop at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets fell at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.7 per cent to 6,293.27 points.
In the eurozone awaiting regional data, Frankfurt's DAX 30 slipped 0.1 per cent to 11,105.92 points and the Paris CAC 40 lost 0.2 per cent compared with Friday's close to open at 4,901.68.
