Europe: Stock markets edge higher at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets gained slightly at the open on Thursday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.3 per cent to 7,541.14 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index won around 0.1 per cent to 12,623.61 points, while the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.1 per cent to 5,290.84 compared with the closing level on Wednesday.
