[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets opened with solid gains on Friday as attention turned to upcoming US jobs data.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbed 0.6 per cent to 6,222.34 points compared with Thursday's close.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 rose 0.3 per cent to 10,237.58 points and the CAC 40 in Paris gained 0.3 per cent to 4,477.83.
