Europe: Stocks close mixed

[PARIS] Europe's main stock markets posted mixed results on Thursday with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index closing down 0.13 per cent at 6,888.90 points.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 index finished up 0.37 per cent closing for the first time at a high of 11,001.94 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 finished 0.71 per cent higher at 4,833.28 points.
