Europe: Stocks close mixed

[PARIS] Europe's main stock markets finished the day mixed on Friday with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.71 per cent to 6,911.80 points.
On the upside Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.41 per cent to close at 11,550.97 points after reaching a record intra-day high of 11,600, while in Paris the CAC 40 rose 0.02 per cent to 4,964.35 points.
