[LONDON] Europe's stock markets fell in opening deals on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top companies down 0.26 per cent at 6,858.28 points.
Elsewhere, the CAC 40 in Paris dipped 0.14 per cent to 4,930.06 and Frankfurt's DAX 30 shed 0.23 per cent compared with Monday's closing level to 11,555.97 points.
