Europe: Stocks extend gains

[LONDON] Top eurozone stock indices rose at the start of trading on Friday, extending the previous session's gains, while London opened flat.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 climbed 0.5 per cent to 10,735.05 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.4 per cent to 4,547.05 compared with the close on Thursday.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index was virtually unchanged at 6,793.10 points.
