Europe: Stocks extend rally at open

    [LONDON] Europe's main stock markets rose on Friday on investor optimism ahead of a key jobs report in the United States.

    London's FTSE 100 index added 0.67 per cent to 6,113.43 points, Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 1.02 per cent to 9,606.59 points and the Paris CAC 40 gained 1.04 per cent to 4,472.50 compared with Thursday's close.
