Europe: Stocks finish higher

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets closed higher Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top companies ending the day 0.43 per cent higher at 6,326.16 points.
In the eurozone, Paris' CAC 40 index finished up 0.95 per cent at 4,660.64 and Frankfurt's DAX 30 climbed 0.90 per cent to 9,902.83.
