Europe: Stocks rally at open

[LONDON] European stock markets opened with solid gains on Wednesday, as mining and oil shares rose strongly on steadier commodity prices.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index advanced 0.9 per cent to 6,137.1 points compared with Tuesday's close.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 jumped 1.3 per cent to 10,623.6 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 1.0 per cent to 4,614.3.
