Europe: Stocks rise at open

[LONDON] European stock markets rose at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.44 per cent to 6,779.00 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 grew 0.23 per cent to 10,719.18 points and the CAC 40 in Paris gained 0.20 per cent to 4,613.31 compared with Friday's close.
