Europe: Stocks rise at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbing 0.19 per cent to 6,908.13 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.63 per cent to 11,918.79 points and the CAC 40 in Paris advanced 0.27 per cent to 5,020.09 compared with Thursday's close.
