Europe: Stocks rise in opening deals

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets advanced at the start of trade on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.27 per cent at 6,981.23 points.
Elsewhere, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index added 0.36 per cent to 11,942.16 points and the CAC 40 in Paris increased 0.14 per cent to 5,037.18 compared with Thursday's close.
