Europe: Stocks slip at open
[LONDON] Europe's stock markets fell at the start of trade on Thursday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.17 per cent to 6,669.25 points.
In Frankfurt, the DAX 30 reversed 0.37 per cent to 10,937.67 points and the CAC 40 in Paris shed 0.27 per cent to 4,777.91 compared with the closing levels on Wednesday.
The region's equities also sank Wednesday as Greece loomed large in investors' minds, with hopes of a deal with creditors over its bailout repayments fading fast.
