Europe: Stocks steady at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets steadied at the open on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index almost 0.1 per cent higher at 7,522.59 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index eased 0.1 per cent to 12,604.40 points and the Paris CAC 40 shed nearly 0.2 per cent to 5,328.86 compared with the closing level of Thursday.
