European stock markets slip at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets drifted lower at the start of trade on Friday, following a sharp rally across global equities earlier this week.
In initial deals, London's benchmark FTSE 100 index dipped 0.1 per cent to 6,357.72 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index shed almost 0.3 per cent to 10,063.89 points, and the Paris CAC 40 lost 0.2 per cent to 4,511.51 compared with Thursday's closing levels.
