Hong Kong opens higher, Shanghai flat
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks rose in the first few minutes of trade on Tuesday in line with gains across the region and following a record close on Wall Street, while Shanghai was broadly flat.
The Hang Seng Index gained 0.39 per cent, or 107.51 points, to 27,431.5.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 5.00 points, or 0.15 per cent, to 3,278.03, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, inched up 0.10 per cent, or 1.96 points, to 1,881.05.
