Hong Kong, Shanghai: Shares open flat

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong and Shanghai stocks were flat in opening trade Thursday, as worries over weakness in the Chinese economy persisted.
The Hang Seng Index was hardly changed in opening deals, ticking up 10.32 points to 20,378.37.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 1.55 points to 2,813.54, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, eased 0.28 per cent, or 5.06 points, to 1,795.17.
