Hong Kong, Shanghai: Shares open lower

[HONG KONG] Stocks sank in the first few minutes of trade in Hong Kong and Shanghai Friday, tracking losses across Asia and New York on lingering concerns about the global economy.
The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong slipped 1.01 per cent, or 204.45 points, to 20,061.60.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.67 per cent, or 20.22 points, to 2,988.20, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.82 per cent, or 15.88 points, to 1,914.38.
